Schools

From children’s daycare to college degrees, Hesston knows the importance of education. And as a Midwestern college town, we are keenly aware of the many ways that schools can bind the community together – as places where we gather for football games, reunions, and other community events.

The Hesston Community Foundation supports the immediate needs and long-term programs of the educational resources in our community, including Hesston Community Child Care (HCCC) and its intergenerational model, Hesston Public Schools and Hesston College. We look to continue to enhance our town’s tradition of recognized educational excellence: HCCC is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood programs as a leading childcare facility; our public schools continue to add to their 65 standards of excellence; and Hesston College was ranked the #2 two-year college in the nation by Washington Monthly magazine and has among the highest nursing board success rates in the state.
